There are the following three subgroups to distinguish:

 

maternal uniparental disomy 15 (mat UPD 15)

paternal uniparental disomy 15 (pat UPD 15)

and

unclear if maternal or paternal uniparental disomy 15 (mat or pat UPD 15)
